Ecobase is a wood preservative. It prevents the development of rot, blue stain fungus and mould. Consumption for surfaces is between seven to ten litres per square metre, depending on the properties of the wood. Previously primed and oiled surfaces preserve their initial freshness and appearance for a longer period of time.
Areas of application: as a primer coat on log houses, windows, doors, floors, wooden garden furniture, eaves, and other timber products, both indoors and outdoors before the final treatment is applied.
Ecobase opens up the wood’s pores so that the oil can be better absorbed into the wood.
Pre-treatment: It is important that the wood material that is to be treated is dry, with a maximum wood moisture level that is below 21% and a relative air humidity that is below 80%.
Drying time is up to twelve hours.
Instructions for use: apply using a brush or a spray. Finish primed surfaces using Eco Oil OÜ’s wood protection products (tar oils, oil paints).
Cleaning equipment: Water
